In Closing…
I’ve demonstrated three products with pictures. A new product should sell itself on the shelf. A couple of product pictures on the packaging will teach the buyer the attributes of each product to include easy installation. Equally as important, are pictures of outdoor enthusiasts with sports gear (on display) as they embark on a fun adventure with friends, family, and Fido!
Proof of Concept
Auxiliary storage systems are needed to eliminate clutter in the cab and to secure valuables, such as tools, sports gear, etc.
New truck and RV manufacturers see the value in additional on-board storage, as follows:
- Dodge trucks increased sales with their very successful bed rail toolboxes. Much of their advertising targets the additional storage.
Honda Ridgeline trucks have an in-bed storage compartment. They too, advertise the additional storage compartment very heavily.
*Nowadays, all RV manufacturers from frame mounts to pull types, boast about their various storage systems.
Many new automotive showrooms display aftermarket carriers for biking, skiing, watersports to camp gear storage. They are targeting the outdoor enthusiast.
I found most of today’s trucks have some type of an auxiliary storage system. It can be as simple as a Rubbermaid container for coats and camp gear to specialized toolboxes.
As you know, after market sports gear carriers and auxiliary storage systems are a real bonanza for the aftermarket automotive industry.
Standalone Products:
The Two-Sided Toolbox, 2n1 Cargo Box and Cargo Rack are all standalone products. The 2n1 Cargo Box and Cargo Rack are pictured together (my preference) but are separate products that can be sold separately or bundled together.
I strive to be honest and subjective with the 3 products in this offer. My intent is to submit worthy products to you.
I’m confident in the Two-Sided Toolbox, 2n1 Cargo Box and Cargo Rack. Originally, I wasn’t sure the pet enclosure would have wide appeal. The pet enclosure has a back story for a later date. In the interest of brevity, I’ll only say: I had to remove the pet enclosure prototype from my truck because of the large number of people taking pictures of my dog in the pet enclosure. Note: My elderly dog isn’t photogenic! The photogs were interested in the prototype and not the dog.
From Need to Green
My personal auxiliary storage system was a conventional aftermarket toolbox and that presented a problem. My truck (like most trucks) is a short bed. The toolbox requires 30% of my bed space. That leaves only 4 feet of open bed space for cargo. It was a constant R&R of the old toolbox. Additionally, my old toolbox was cumbersome and storing it was problematic. The solution is the new two-sided toolbox. I reiterate, the Two-Sided Toolbox looks and performs just like a conventional diamond plate toolbox. The Two-Sided Toolbox is an easy R&R, plus storing it on an upper shelf is no problem!
My need for a diverse storage system resulted in a green product!
